India clinches its inaugural gold at the ISSF Shooting World Cup in Cairo as Rhythm Sangwan and Ujjwal Malik emerge victorious

India showcased excellence at the ISSF World Cup, particularly in the 10m air pistol mixed team event and the 10m air rifle mixed team event. Rhythm Sangwan and Ujjwal demonstrated remarkable skill and synchronization, earning India a gold medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. In the 10m air rifle mixed team event, Arjun Babuta and Sonam Uttam Maskar exhibited resilience, securing a silver medal for the country. India's quest for gold at the ISSF World Cup commenced with an exceptional display by Rhythm Sangwan and Ujjwal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Mr. Sanjay Verma has sworn the oath of Office and Secrecy, officially assuming the position of a Member in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Mr. Sanjay Verma, a seasoned member of the Indian Foreign Service since 1990, has officially taken the oath as a Member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). His distinguished career encompasses ambassadorial assignments in Spain and Andorra, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and the African Union. With a rich background in international relations and diplomacy, he brings a wealth of experience to his new role at the UPSC.

‘Ungalai Thedi, Ungal Ooril’ Scheme

The government of Tamil Nadu has unveiled guidelines for the "Ungalai Thedi, Ungal Ooril" (Come Look For You, In Your Village) outreach program, a strategic initiative led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin with the aim of enhancing public services and promoting effective scheme implementation throughout the state. Under this program, Collectors and senior district officials are scheduled to devote 24 hours each month to conducting site visits in a designated taluk (sub-district). During these visits, officials will inspect infrastructure, assess project functionality, and gather feedback from the public. The inaugural round of visits is set to commence this Wednesday, with teams dividing their efforts to cover multiple sites within the assigned taluk.

"Ek Samandar, Mere Andar" is a literary work authored by Mr. Sanjeev Joshi, Deputy CEO of BrahMos Aerospace.

"Ek Samandar, Mere Andar," a compilation of 75 poems written by Mr. Sanjeev Joshi, Deputy CEO of BrahMos Aerospace, was unveiled at a distinguished event attended by prominent figures from the Indian defense and literary realms. This literary creation signifies the merging of artistic expression and defense acumen. The introduction of 'Ek Samandar, Mere Andar' underscores the less-explored creative dimensions of individuals deeply engaged in the defense sector. Sanjeev Joshi, renowned for his contributions to BrahMos Aerospace, unveils his poetic talent in this anthology, providing a distinctive outlook on life and personal experiences. The book launch event gained added distinction with the attendance of eminent personalities, including actor Ashutosh Rana, author Rambahadur Rai, DRDO chief Dr. Samir V Kamat, Deputy Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, and several senior dignitaries from the realms of literature and defense.
