75th Emmy Awards 2024: The Bear & Succession received the most awards

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards were held on January 16, 2024, in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony was delayed nearly four months due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. The awards ceremony was telecast from the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. 'The Bear' and 'Succession' have won the most awards at the 75th Emmy Awards.

Sumit Nagal Make History at Australian Open By Defeating Seeded Player

India's Sumit Nagal entered the second round of the Australian Open tennis tournament for the first time by defeating Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik. The Australian Open 2024 is being held at Melbourne Park from 14 January to 28 January 2024. This is the first win by an Indian men's singles player over a seeded player in a Grand Slam after 34 years. Before this, Ramesh Krishnan had defeated Mats Wilander in the 1989 Australian Open. Bublik is seeded 31st in the Australian Open 2024.

· M.J. Akbar and K. Natwar Singh unveil latest book, "Gandhi: A Life in Three Campaigns," at an event hosted by Nripendra Misra, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Prime Minister’s Museum and Library Society.

Sarma launches distribution of ration cards for over 40 lakh people

· Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attends the ceremonial distribution of ration cards to 42,85,745 new beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) in Guwahati's Maligaon.

· Each member is entitled to 5 kgs of rice every month free of cost.

The entitlement is available every month during "Anna Sewa Saptah," and for this month, it will be available until January 31.
